Job Summary
We are seeking a Auto Body Painter to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to repaired vehicle bodies, ensuring each vehicle looks pristine and meets our quality standards. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original beauty, providing our customers with confidence and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Mix and match paints accurately to achieve the perfect color match for each vehicle
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and other finishes using spray guns or other painting tools with precision and consistency
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as runs, drips, or uneven coverage; perform touch-ups as needed
- Follow safety protocols by wearing appropriate protective gear and maintaining a clean work area to prevent hazards
- Collaborate with technicians and estimators to ensure timely completion of painting tasks aligned with repair schedules
Requirements
- Proven experience as an auto body painter or similar role in automotive repair shops or collision centers
- Strong knowledge of automotive paints, primers, clear coats, and related materials
- Ability to operate spray guns, sanders, masking tools, and other painting equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on achieving flawless finishes
- Good understanding of vehicle bodywork repair processes and surface preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately

Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
