About the Role
This is a crucial position as you interact with the customers the most; you’re literally the face of the company. Punctuality is essential as the later we leave the warehouse the more congested the roads become.
Each day will be a little bit different as we are constantly going (but driving will always be part of your day). You will.....
- Load your truck at the beginning of the day and unload reused boxes at the end of the day
- Make deliveries in a safe and timely fashion
- Provide our customers with a great experience each and every time
- Assist with packing orders and pick ups from various vendors
Mandatory Requirements
- Clean Drivers abstract - last 5 years
- Ability to get to our office for 6:30 am
- Ability to lift 40 pounds as the fruit can be quite heavy
- Patient and Safe
Hours
The hours are part-time with a real potential for full time or more hours. Your work week will be:
Sunday - 8am - 3pm
Monday - 6:30 am - 2:30pm
Tuesday - 6:30am - 2:30pm
Wednesday - 6:30am - 2:30pm
Thursday - 6:30am - 2:30pm
We are located in Etobicoke, our main highway intersections are the 427 and the Queensway as well as Kipling Avenue and the Gardiner Expressway. Having a car is preferable, but not mandatory and the TTC’s Blue Night Network operates from 1:30 am - 5:30 am on major routes if need be.
