Two 310T Technicians Needed!
Job Summary: We are on the looking for (2) 310T Licensed Technicians for our road construction client in Bolton, ON! Your own tools will be required. It’s a full-time opportunity to maintain and repair our client’s fleet of Sweepers, Water Trucks, Dump Trucks, Live Bottom Trailers and Snowplows! The ideal applicant would live in the nearby areas and be capable of adequately covering the region.
Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
Job Location: Bolton, ON. 100% on-site.
Shift Structure: Monday to Friday from 2pm to 11pm with rotating Saturdays.
Compensation Structure: $25.00-$35.00 (depending on experience & also dependent on being a licensed 310T tech) + benefits + performance perks + company’s service truck + OT opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine heavy-duty truck inspections in yard with Mobile unit.
- Diagnose mechanical problems
- Repair vehicles including engines, HVAC, brakes, frame, steering, suspension, tires, wheels, drive train as well as electrical system components.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
· 3+ years experience with heavy equipment and hydraulics.
· Min 2 years experience as a diesel mechanic
· 310T Licence
· Class G Driver's License with clean abstract to be provided
· You possess knowledge of all vehicle systems and have the skills and technical abilities to effectively diagnose repairs and identify recommendations for maintenance.
· Strong attention to detail will ensure driver satisfaction. You take pride in performing maintenance and repairs in an efficient and professional manner.
· You are able to work independently or as part of a team, versatile with proven ability to multitask.
· Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
· Previous experience in winter works operation is an asset.
