Are you highly detail-oriented with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences? We’re looking for a motivated and organised Room Checker to support our Housekeeping Supervisors and Executive Housekeeper in ensuring every guest room meets the highest standards before guest arrival. You will play a key part in maintaining quality and consistency across our rooms, making sure each space is clean, complete, and warm and welcoming for our guests. Attention to detail, structure, and a methodical approach are crucial.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Housekeeping Supervisors and Executive Housekeeper in daily operations
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Verify that all cleaning tasks have been completed thoroughly and correctly
- Ensure rooms are fully stocked, well-presented, and guest-ready before check-in
- Identify and report maintenance or repair issues promptly
- Maintain guest privacy and room security at all times
- Work closely with the housekeeping team, Front Office, and Maintenance departments
- Support housekeeping duties when required, including:
- Changing linens and towels
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Dusting and vacuuming
- Removing garbage and recyclables
- Help promote a positive and supportive team culture
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the department
What You Bring
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset, but not essential
