The Opportunity
Wolf Midstream is currently looking for an Accounting Analyst. This is a permanent position supporting the Corporate Accounting team in our Calgary office. The successful individual will be responsible for full cycle accounting support and will have the opportunity to work with several individuals across our business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the day-to-day accounting for a group of corporate entities including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, GST filings
- Prepare payment runs and support day-to-day treasury activities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, including the preparation of supporting schedules
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting entries, including the preparation of supporting schedules and intercompany reconciliations
- Support in the preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statement and MD&A analysis including preparation of supporting schedules and consolidation workbook
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax compliance packages and compilation of audit evidence and schedules
- Assist in the preparation of the quarterly GHG reporting metrics and compilation of GHG audit evidence and schedules
- Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Degree or diploma in Accounting
- Preference will be given to applicants with an accounting designation or pursuing
Experience:
- 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience
- Proven track record of successfully meeting commitments in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment
- Experience with IFRS is an asset
- Experience in Qbyte, Powervision, and Microsoft Dynamics 365FO is an asset
- Midstream Industry experience is considered an asset

- Familiar with accounting rules and regulations

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
- Results oriented and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft products
