Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice Principal to join our educational leadership team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting school administration, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the effective operation of the school. This leadership position requires a strong background in teaching, budgeting, and team management to help drive academic excellence and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Assist the Principal in developing and implementing school policies, goals, and programs.
- Support instructional leadership by overseeing teaching practices and curriculum standards.
- Manage school budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial resources are allocated effectively.
- Lead staff development initiatives and coordinate professional training sessions.
- Supervise faculty and staff, providing mentorship and performance evaluations.
- Address student discipline issues and promote a safe, inclusive environment for all students.
- Collaborate with parents, community members, and external organizations to foster strong relationships.
- Participate in strategic planning to improve academic outcomes and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and reporting requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience in First Nations Education with a strong understanding of child development, behavioural supports and instructional strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in an educational setting, including team management and conflict resolution.
- Experience with budgeting, financial planning, or resource management within an educational environment is highly desirable.
- Prior involvement in school administration or leadership roles is preferred.

Pay: $77,300.50-$156,964.68 per year
