Position: Cook’s Helper

Term: Part Time, Permanent

Community: Nain, NL

Closing Date: June 18, 2026

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Cook, the Cook’s Helper will be responsible for food preparation in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide for children ages two to six years attending various Childcare Programs, helping prepare food for special events, as well as cleaning of the kitchen area.

Qualifications

Commercial Cooking Program certificate or equivalent training and experience
Must be able to prepare traditional foods

Assets

Bilingual in Inuktitut and English
