EXPERIENCED EXCAVATOR OPERATOR
BREYCON Construction Ltd. is a civil construction company based out of Edmonton, Alberta, serving various Alberta construction areas and demands. We specialize in asphalt paving and repairs, remediation, ground preparation and excavation, construction and maintenance, mass excavation, erosion control, and general civil earthworks and site preparation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate equipment as it applies to base preperation, excavation, trenching, underground utility installation, ditching, sloping, site preparation, loading trucks, cut to fill, etc.
- Conduct a pre-operational equipment inspection checklist before operating
- Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with company safety practices, policies, and procedures
- Ability to identify hazards while operating equipment
REQUIREMENTS:
- CSTS and WHIMIS required; additional operator tickets are perfered
- Wage based on experience & qualifications upon reference
- Must have valid driver’s license; able to get to and from Edmonton head office
- Bonus if able to operate other heavy equipment and/or have experience in working with paving or ultility installation
- Must drug and alcohol testing may be required
Position is seasonal with potential to extend employment to permenent year-round. Position available immediately.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00-$50.00 per hour
