RLST 100 – Introduction to Religious Studies
An introduction to the academic study of religion; a survey of the thought and practices of major world religions; the impact of religion on society and culture
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must
- hold a minimum of an MA in Religious Studies, preferably a PhD;
- have a record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level;
- have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle])

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
This course is scheduled as Hybrid – with an onsite and a remote section. The instructor will deliver the course face-to-face (onsite) at the Saskatoon Campus on Wednesdays from 11:30-14:15. The remote section will run at the same time.
Instructors are expected to have one office hour per week.
Sessional Lecturers may have preparatory work to do before the start date and sometimes may have to deal with grading tasks after the termination date.
