Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Real Estate Law Clerk with AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE as a real estate law clerk to join our legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in document management, and administrative support within the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will possess excellent proofreading, writing, and organizational skills, and be proficient with document management systems. This position is essential in supporting our lawyers with file preparation, document review, and client communications to ensure smooth and efficient legal processes.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, transfers, titles, and closing statements and documents
- Assist with project management tasks to ensure deadlines are met for various real estate files
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of client information, property details, and transaction histories
- Support lawyers with administrative duties such as filing documents, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
- Conduct interviews with clients as needed to gather pertinent information
- Demonstrate excellent phone and email etiquette when communicating with clients
- Ensure all documents are properly filed both electronically and physically in accordance with firm procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a real estate clerk for at least 2 years within a law firm
- Strong proofreading, writing skills, and attention to detail
- Experience with project management and organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines efficiently
- Knowledge of legal drafting standards specific to real estate transactions
- Excellent data entry skills along with clerical experience including filing and record keeping
- Strong interviewing skills and professional phone etiquette

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
