Enning Blinds Ltd. is a Calgary-based manufacturer specializing in custom blinds. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and efficient service to our customers. We are currently seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our production team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of blinds
- Measure, cut, assemble, and inspect components with high accuracy
- Follow production schedules and instructions from team leads
- Ensure quality standards are met at each stage of the manufacturing process
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory handling and materials preparation as needed
- Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production (blinds or similar products is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements
- Basic mechanical or technical skills
- Able to lift and move materials up to 70 lbs
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using hand tools, measuring tapes, and production equipment
- Ability to read production sheets or basic drawings
