Directs the sales organization products and/or services in a specified region or other major geographical area. Controls expenses and demo product and negotiates with key economic buyers.
Successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree plus 6-8 years or related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of five years of Canadian Electrophysiology marketing experience; sales, and sales operations.
Minimum of five years sales/team management.
Medical device industry experience in Electrophysiology required.
Outstanding interpersonal skills including developing relationships and indirectly influencing business objectives.
Strong collaboration and team based skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize direction from several leaders required.
Outstanding PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
Proven analytical and strategic planning skills.
Ability to travel at least 50%.
Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported. Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
Prepares annual regional sales forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential and in preparation of sales expense estimates for the region.
Maintains contact with major accounts within assigned region.
Oversees customer service aactivities within region.
Participates in the recruitment, selection and training of sales representatives and sales office personnel within assigned region.
Confers with immediate superior in the development of marketing policy, recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes.
Assists sales support/marketing staff members in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and executing special projects.
