Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. This role involves providing personalized instruction in Math, to help students improve their understanding and confidence. The Tutor will create engaging learning environments tailored to individual needs and foster a positive educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in subjects such as Math.
- Assess students’ learning needs and develop customized lesson plans to address their specific goals.
- Utilize effective teaching methods and educational tools to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging attitude to motivate students and build their confidence.
- Incorporate technology and computer skills to facilitate interactive learning experiences.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
- Adapt tutoring strategies for children with diverse learning styles and special needs as required.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children is highly preferred.
- Background in tutoring or teaching across various subjects, especially Math.
- Classroom experience or familiarity with educational settings is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills for utilizing educational software and digital resources.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
