Purpose:
Under the direction of the Director, the Content & Marketing Support Assistant will support Lassonde Professional Development (LPD) with implementing marketing and promotion activities associated with LPD programs. Working closely with the LPD team and the Communications Team within Lassonde, the Content & Marketing Support Assistant will ensure all marketing and promotional content is on brand and in compliance with York University standards.
Education:
A background in media, marketing, public relations, graphic design, film, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum one year of experience in marketing and content creation in a professional environment. Experience must include using Adobe, Canvas and/or other PDF creation and editing programs, experience with video editing software programs and social media.
Skills:
Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate verbally clearly and accurately and in writing. Strong organizational skills to handle a high volume and meet deadlines.Attention to detail.Fast learner with a passion for innovation and technology. Experience writing and implementing ad campaigns on Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
