Title & Position: Marketing Coordinator
Work location: 20 Great Gulf Drive Vaughan Ontario L4K 0K7 (In Person, On-site)
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Wages: $37.50 CAD per hour

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. All marketing efforts, communications of contents must display robust technical understanding of desiccants, specialized packaging, chromatography adsorbents, etc. & their customary & potential usage by the select user businesses
2. Carry out market surveys & analysis to identify new sales opportunities, status of competition & monitor competitive activities
3. Attend technical bids, prepare / draft bids
4. Analyze and develop opportunities for advertisement, presentations, marketing plans & achieve quarterly quotas
5. Develop database of customer queries & make appropriate, explanatory responses to the queries
6. Give technical guidance of our products & alternative suggestions in communications to align customers specifications with our capabilities
7. Interpret & archive documents such as product specifications, safety data, SoP’s, etc.
8. Develop communication protocols on receipt of customer order
9. Play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objective
10. Demonstrate ability to manage projects/programs undertaken in relation with regards to desiccants used in current industrial set up
11. Work through challenges to complete projects/programs on timely manner
12. Use in-depth understanding of the products & past experiences to engage the customers & their internal staff concerned to communicate our product’s usage to maximize benefit to the customers and thus ensuring customer loyalty & develop exit barriers
13. Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
14. Make proactive decisions and actions based on the need of the situation
15. Maintain positive relationships among external and internal customers
16. Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English with the ability to understand technical information, procedures, records & other documents in English
17. Show strong analytical thinking, forward thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask
Candidate Requirements
Education:
· A university degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Communications, or a related discipline is required.
Work Experience:
1. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the field of desiccants with market strategy, planning & implementation, active engagement with customers to design customer specific desiccant solutions
2. Having precise technical knowledge of desiccants & preparative chromatography & able to apply it with minimum to no supervision
3. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience of working hands-on in a desiccant manufacturing set up to acquire following skills:
· Proven track record of success in facilitating technical communication regarding desiccants, adsorbents & specialized packaging with customers during preliminary and post preliminary assessment of opportunities & not exposing the company to any legal/commercial risk due to deficient or miscommunication
· Demonstrated ability to meet marketing campaign targets and growth objectives.
· Strong presentation, customer relationship management, and communication skills.
· Strong understanding of the characteristics, applications, and commercial use of desiccants, adsorbents, chromatography products, and specialized packaging solutions.
· Thorough knowledge about purification of pharmaceutical API’s using silica gel & aluminum oxide in column chromatography
· Experience in developing strategies & implementing them for direct & digital marketing & advertising of various kinds of desiccants
· Robust technical content writing skills for preparation of reports, briefs, presentations, blogs, websites etc., on the uses of different desiccants in pharma, herbal, food, shipping, and related industries
· Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience supporting marketing strategy development, annual business planning, and organizational growth initiatives.
· Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in CRM systems, ERP platforms, spreadsheets, word processing, and business management software.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
