Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all prescriptions meet safety standards.
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting medication administration processes.
Manage inventory by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and maintaining organized storage of pharmaceuticals.
Maintain accurate records of medication transactions, patient information, and inventory logs in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Support the pharmacy team during medication preparation, labeling, and packaging tasks with precision and care.
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace that adheres to health and safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth communication regarding patient prescriptions and medication needs.
Skills
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role provides a strong foundation for success in this position.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations enhances accuracy and efficiency.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
