Residential Property Groundskeeper
This is a full time, seasonal position. The groundskeeper position will be under the direct supervision of the Community Manager in all areas They will generally be responsible for all lawns, tree trimming up to 6 feet, shrubbery clipping, weeding and keeping all grounds clean of debris. Work may be performed independently or as part of the groundskeeping team, while simultaneously upholding all company policies goals and values. A friendly and professional demeanor is essential as you will be working in a residential environment.
Reporting to the Community Manager, the principal duties of a Groundskeeper are to assist with performing groundskeeping duties including the maintenance, repair, construction, and installation in all grounds and gardens.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Caring for all lawns, mowing, and edging.
- Maintaining flower beds, planting, and weeding.
- Planting shrubs, trees, flower beds as required.
- Collecting and removing garbage, seasonal debris, and litter, including leaves from all sidewalks.
- Removing snow and ice from sidewalks and parking areas.
- Complying with the Company's Policies, Management Plans, and Procedures
KEY REQUIREMENTS
To be a successful candidate, you must meet the following:
- Proven experience in groundskeeping and lawn maintenance
- Equipment operator experience, including small equipment such as mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers and edgers and maintain them
- Comfortable with walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods and be able to lift, carry or move items up to 50 lb
