Pool Construction technician:
CB Pools & Spas is looking for a Pool Construction technician to join our award winning team, we build custom pools and backyard retreats in Durham Region and the GTA. The Ideal candidate must be ambitious and energetic and have reliable transportation. We are looking for a candidate with 3- 5 years experience in pool construction, concrete work or general construction.

Strong communication skills, oral and written
Possess a great attitude!
Available to work 6 days per week during the pool season
A Class G Driver’s license
Must be able to work in a team environment
Attention to detail in an essential attribute
Job Responsibilities include:
· Install in-ground and/or above-ground swimming pools according to design plans and manufacturer specifications
· Excavate sites using hand tools and machinery (e.g., skid steers, excavators)
· Set pool walls, frames, liners, fiberglass shells, or concrete forms
· Install plumbing, filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and basic electrical components
· Level, align, and secure pool structures to ensure proper fit and safety
· Mix, pour, and finish concrete for pool bases, decks, and surrounding areas
· Backfill and compact soil around installed pools
· Test pool systems for leaks, proper circulation, and functionality
· Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
· Communicate with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding progress or issues
· Assist with pool renovations, repairs, and maintenance when needed
