Concrete Construction Labourer
Overview
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Concrete Construction Labourer to join our growing team. This position involves assisting with all aspects of residential and commercial concrete construction projects, including site preparation, forming, placing, finishing support, cleanup, and general labour duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and be willing to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and concrete project setup
- Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Support concrete forming, placing, finishing, and stripping operations
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Push wheelbarrows and transport concrete and materials around job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with grading, backfilling, and site cleanup as required
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous construction or concrete experience is an asset but not required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to travel between job sites
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs regularly throughout the workday
- Ability to push loaded wheelbarrows and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
