The Opportunity
We’re expanding our Commercial Insurance division and looking for a Commercial Risk and Insurance Advisor with a proven track record in B2B sales, or deep roots in the construction or transportation industry, to grow our book in these key niches.
This role is built for a hunter, someone who already knows how the construction or transportation world works, speaks the language, and has the contacts to prove it. If you love to connect, compete, and close, this is your opportunity to join a high-performance team where your success and income are in your hands.

What You’ll Do

- Leverage your existing contacts and network to open doors and identify new opportunities.
- Lead client discovery meetings to understand business operations, exposures, and insurance needs.
- Attend industry events, trade associations, and functions where your niche does business.

- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand how organizations in your niche operate and make decisions.
- A self-starter mentality — disciplined, goal-oriented, and energized by measurable results.
- Comfortable with networking, cold calling, and face-to-face prospecting — you do both without complaint.
- Competitive by nature — motivated by growth, recognition, and unlimited earning potential.
- Level 1 Insurance License is an asset, or willingness to obtain.
Why Wedgwood?
- A culture that rewards initiative, effort, and results — not just tenure.
