Summary
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team in Canada. Based in the local area, you will play a vital role in deploying and maintaining satellite and wireless systems, ensuring our clients stay connected with cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot satellite and wireless communication systems.
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to set up equipment efficiently.
- Conduct network testing and ensure optimal performance of telecommunication devices.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality installation services.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installations and service reports.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all installation activities.
- Assist in diagnosing electrical or low voltage issues related to network setups.
- Support ongoing maintenance and upgrades of installed systems.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with Ethernet, computer networking, and telecommunication systems.
- Mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools.
- Strong electrical experience, particularly with low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and telephony equipment is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
- Prior experience in satellite or wireless installation is a plus.
