Description
We are seeking a motivated Associate Buyer to support procurement and supply chain activities across our programs. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the right materials and services are sourced efficiently and strategically, while having the opportunity to develop foundational skills in sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic environment. In this role, you will:

Support and lead sourcing activities, including negotiating scope, pricing, timelines, and terms to deliver best value

Coordinate supplier selection and contribute to purchase orders and subcontract awards

Help manage supplier performance, resolving issues and ensuring on-time delivery

Monitor costs, track budgets, and support change management processes

Stay informed on market trends and explore new technologies and supplier capabilities

Build strong supplier relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives

Contribute to forecasting and planning activities to meet program needs

Collaborate with engineering and project teams on new product launches and design changes
Required Qualifications:

University degree or college diploma in business or supply chain related discipline

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships

Ability to travel (10% Cdn, 10% US/Int’l) and possess / be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
