HIRING: Cashier / Store Supervisor – Romanian Specialty Foods
Full‑time – Concord, ON – IMCA Euro Catering
IMCA Euro Catering is a Romanian specialty grocery store and prepared‑foods shop serving the local Romanian community. We are looking for a reliable full‑time team member who can handle cashier duties, manage daily store operations, and oversee inventory and ordering.
Responsibilities:
- Cashier duties and customer service in Romanian and English
- Explain Romanian food items, ingredients, and allergens
- Manage inventory, track stock, and place supplier orders
- Receive deliveries and organize storage
- Prepare and organize daily customer and catering orders
- Maintain product displays and rotate stock
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Assist with supervising and training staff
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate in Romanian an asset (many customers speak Romanian only)
- Experience in retail, cashiering, or store supervision is an asset
- Knowledge of Romanian foods is an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
