Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate the Micros POS system accurately for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash transactions with precision, including giving correct change and processing card payments
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation protocols
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times
Experience
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures in a restaurant setting
- Experience in serving or cashiering roles within the food industry is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
