Job Summary
We are hiring a Batcher for a busy food production facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with batching, ingredient weighing, mixing, and food production processes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Measure and weigh ingredients according to batch recipes and production schedules.
- Operate mixers and batching equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow recipes, production sheets, and SOPs accurately.
- Monitor ingredient quantities, batch consistency, and product quality.
- Load and handle raw materials and ingredients.
- Complete production and batch documentation accurately.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Perform other production duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Batcher, Mixer Operator, Food Production Worker, or similar role preferred.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Good understanding of measurements, weights, and production recipes.
- Ability to lift and move ingredients/materials as required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Must be comfortable working around food ingredients and strong food/spice aromas.
