We're looking for a Coordinator, Facility Management to help manage facilities, maintenance contracts, and service providers that support Canada's defence operations. In this role, you'll work closely with Client-Partners, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure facilities remain safe, reliable, and efficient. By becoming a DCC team member, you'll contribute directly to maintaining the infrastructure that supports Canada's military personnel and mission readiness.

What You'll Do
As a key member of our Facility Management team, you'll support the operation, maintenance, and performance of Client-Partner facilities and assets by:
Managing Contracts & Service Providers
- Managing and administering facility management, maintenance, and minor construction contracts.
- Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring work meets contractual and Client-Partner requirements.
- Coordinating consultants, contractors, testing agencies, and other service providers.
Supporting Facility Operations
- Supporting the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, communications systems, roads, and grounds.
- Conducting inspections to assess facility condition, safety, compliance, and performance.
- Maintaining building asset inventories and supporting maintenance planning activities.
Driving Quality & Compliance
- Reviewing maintenance management plans to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Supporting environmental, occupational health and safety, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Applying risk management practices to support service excellence and operational reliability.
Building Strong Relationships
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with Client-Partners, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Providing professional service and contributing to collaborative problem-solving and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
A combination of facility management knowledge, contract administration experience, and strong communication skills. You're comfortable balancing technical requirements with client service while coordinating multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Your Background
- A college diploma in facility management or a related field, plus approximately two years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Certifications in engineering technology, real property management, or facility management are considered assets.
Your Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of facility management, construction contract management, and industry best practices.
- Understanding of project and risk management principles.
- Ability to use applicable computer software and systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Where You'll Work
You'll work primarily in an office environment with routine travel to facilities and project sites. Some site visits may require the use of personal protective equipment.
