Location: North York
We are looking for a Marketing Intern based at our North York Location for the months of May to August 2021. This role will be responsible for working on key innovation and renovation projects that address current and future business needs and impact our customers.
A day in the life of...
As a Marketing Intern you will be working on various projects to improve the Nestle brand with consumers. You will be involved in communicating with key stakeholders, ensure that you are learning and understanding the importance of the 4Ps and the role of marketing at the world’s largest food company.
You will also:
Develop a strategic social media plan to improve positioning of our brand with consumers
Defining the product/brand re-launch strategy to accelerate growth and profitability
have an opportunity to present the results of your project(s) to the senior leadership team
What will make you successful
As the successful candidate, will be the champion for the brand throughout the organisation so you will need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will already have great project management and analytical skills coupled with your highly organised, conscientious approach.
You will also:
Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year undergraduate program with an emphasis in Marketing, Brand Management or Marketing Communications.
Involvement in extracurricular activities which demonstrate initiative and leadership.
Experience with Digital marketing strategy is an asset.
A results and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills.
A proactive creative thinker who can generate new ideas/solutions to meet internal and external requirements.
Have the ability to build great relationships with internal stakeholders from various backgrounds and work collaboratively on multiple projects.
Have strong interpersonal skills with exceptional verbal communication skills.
Fast learner, and must be comfortable working within a dynamic, challenging environment.
Strong computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Be able to showcase excellent communication and project management skills.
Be passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge the status quo
