Reports to: Senior Director, Marketing
Employment Type: Full-Time. This hybrid role offers a mix of in-office and remote work, with three days per week at our Edmonton office and two days working remotely.

At Pharmacy Brands Canada, we support more than 280 independent pharmacies nationwide through our family of pharmacy banner brands. By providing innovative programs, marketing expertise, and business support, we help local pharmacy owners grow their businesses while preserving the personalized care and community connections that make independent pharmacies unique.
We are seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Digital Marketing & Creative Specialist to help grow and elevate a digital marketing services program supporting our independent pharmacy banner members.
This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to help shape and expand member marketing services across our Pharmacy banner program. In this role, you will support and expand Pharmacy Brands Canada's member digital marketing program across our nationwide network of trusted independent pharmacies. You'll work directly with pharmacy owners to create engaging marketing materials, strengthen their local digital presence, and deliver marketing solutions that help them connect with patients and customers in their communities.
While this role offers significant ownership and creativity, you won't be building alone. You'll be supported by an engaged leadership team and a collaborative marketing department committed to helping independent pharmacies thrive. Together, you'll continue to evolve and enhance the marketing services available to our members.
Key Areas of Focus
Creative Development & Design: Create engaging visual assets for digital and print channels, including social media graphics, email marketing, digital advertisements, flyers, in-store signage, and promotional materials.
Local Digital Marketing: Help pharmacies strengthen their local online presence through social media, Google Business Profile management, reputation management, and other community-focused digital marketing initiatives.
Member Support & Collaboration: Partner directly with independent pharmacy owners to understand their goals, identify opportunities, and provide practical marketing solutions tailored to their local markets.
Key Responsibilities
Program Support & Management: Support and grow Pharmacy Brands Canada's member marketing services program by providing creative and digital marketing solutions tailored to independent pharmacy owners.
Creative Development & Design: Design high-quality marketing materials across a variety of digital and print channels, including social media graphics, email campaigns, digital advertisements, website content, flyers, signage, and promotional materials.
Social Media Marketing: Develop content, create social media assets, and support organic social media initiatives that help pharmacies engage with their communities and promote key services.
Google Business Profile Management: Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles for member pharmacies, including content updates, profile enhancements, review management support, and local visibility improvements.
Member Consultation & Support: Work directly with pharmacy owners to understand business objectives, provide marketing recommendations, and support the successful execution of local marketing activities.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement, visibility, and program effectiveness.
Project & Relationship Management: Manage multiple member marketing projects simultaneously while building strong relationships with pharmacy owners and ensuring projects are delivered on time and with a high level of quality.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in digital marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field.
- Design Skills: Demonstrated experience creating engaging digital and print materials using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or other modern design platforms.
- Digital Marketing: Experience managing social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and a strong familiarity with Google Business Profile management and local SEO strategies.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and owner requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Mindset: Highly accountable, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to collaborate with a tight-knit corporate team.
Pay: $55,000.00-$86,795.66 per year
