PHSA, PHC and VCH have initiated the Future Workspace Project (FWS) in support of desktop Win 7 upgrade to various platforms including Win 10, workspace virtualization, SAAS, etc. The initiative is in part motivated by Microsoft’s new technology/operating system roadmap (SAC) and upcoming Win 7 end of life/support.
Driven by a commitment to minimize the potentially significant cost impact to PHSA, PHC and VCH and sustain business continuity during the transition, FWS is building a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative work environment that requires a strong working partnership between multiple stakeholders across PHSA, PHC VCH, IMITS, Shared Services, IBM and other Service Providers.
What you’ll do
Liaise with PHSA Communications to support the development of communication and change management deliverables
Stakeholder meeting facilitation and documentation (including agendas, minutes and meeting materials)
Liaise with project team members across FWS work streams to drive efficiencies and behavioral best practices
Support all change management activities related to Business/Clinical Readiness (i.e. change and technical analysis, stakeholder analysis, etc.)
Support Business/Clinical Readiness and deployment support activities including, but not limited to:
o Development of presentation decks for various purposes
o Development of communication artifacts for various stakeholder groups across roles (FWS project audience, business, clinical, technical and non-technical)
o Development of training materials (for business, clinical, IMITS and other technical users) and other documentation
o Assist in drafting/revising service desk support instructions
o Develop relevant processes, workflows, procedures and use cases to support Windows 10 transition activities
o Complete assessments and provide recommendations that will be used to help drive the transition to Windows10
Conduct feasibility studies, gap analysis and process mapping to support future state requirements and recommendations
Draft reports, briefing notes, and other supportive documentation for higher level management
What you bring
A minimum of three (3) years of recent, related experience
IT aptitude supported by experience working on a technical implementation project
Familiarity working on a Windows 10 implementation
Experience working in a project environment on transformation initiatives.
Process orientation, ability to work independently and within a team.
Prior experience with Change Management, Business Analysis and Requirements Management techniques and tools
Analytical and broad-based technical knowledge/skills; with ability to think through details and tactics without losing sight of overall strategic goals
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment – proven organizational and time management skills
Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
Exceptional judgment, client engagement/interpersonal skills and ability to effectively facilitate discussions with a diverse group of stakeholders
Proficiency with MS Office toolsets (PowerPoint, Word) and intermediate Excel
