Warman Small Animal Hospital is seeking a full time Practice Manager to join our team. This position will be on site. As our Practice Manager, you will work alongside the ownership team to oversee financial operations, clinic operations, and Human Relation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, leadership skills, knowledge of employment relations and have the ability to make strategic and data driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- HRS- planning, organizing, leading, controlling and decision making
- Accounts receivables and payables
- Payroll
- Working with CPA to prepare financial reports using QuickBooks
- Inventory and purchasing
- Staff scheduling and maintaining employee files and contracts
- Clinic operations- oversee that facility maintenance is done in a timely and appropriate manner, coordinate equipment repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Recruitment and talent acquisition
- Social media maintenance and website updates
Qualifications and Skills
- Financial experience- 3+ years of bookkeeping and payroll processing essential. Proficiency using QuickBooks is a must
- Knowledge of employment regulations with focus on compliance with Saskatchewan Labour Laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic, data driven decision making
- Human Relation systems experience
- Organized
- Ability to use and run social media accounts including Facebook and Instagram and promote the business through all online platforms.
