Analog Mechanical is actively hiring experienced Red Seal plumber/gas fitter superintendents to lead commercial and multi-family residential plumbing projects across Calgary, AB. This is a permanent, full-time position with a compressed work schedule that gives you your weekends back early — every single week.
Your Schedule
· Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:45 PM
· Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
· That's right — you're done by 11 AM every Friday. Long weekends, every week.

About Your Role
As a Plumbing Superintendent with Analog Mechanical, you will take ownership of daily field operations on commercial and multi-family residential plumbing projects throughout Calgary. You will lead your team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will also be hands-on with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems.
You will manage and mentor your field staff, build a positive and safe jobsite culture, coordinate subcontractors, and serve as the primary point of contact for your clients.
What You'll Do
· Supervise and support your field staff, ensuring efficient allocation of plumbing resources, tools, and materials
· Provide clear direction and performance feedback to your plumbing and mechanical teams
· Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and professionalism on all commercial and residential job sites
· Enforce adherence to company safety policies, Alberta building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
· Address employee conflicts and performance issues promptly using company and industry best practices
· Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and mechanical systems on commercial and multi-family projects
· Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing and mechanical issues efficiently on site
· Ensure all plumbing installations comply with safety regulations and local building codes
· Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for plumbing and mechanical systems
· Coordinate and manage subcontractors to keep your project schedule on track
· Conduct subtrade and client meetings to foster strong relationships and successful project outcomes
· Plan, schedule, and oversee daily plumbing activities to meet timelines and deliverables
· Monitor work progress and resolve on-site challenges promptly
· Ensure proper documentation of safety practices and incidents
· Maintain accurate records of project progress, workforce hours, and equipment usage
· Provide regular updates and reports to management on project status and field operations
· Identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements
What You Bring
Required:
· Valid Journeyperson Plumber/Gas Fitter certification with Red Seal endorsement
· Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the mechanical and plumbing industries
· Strong knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems, installation practices, safety regulations, and Alberta building codes
· Valid Class 5 driver's license
· Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certification
· Current Standard First Aid certificate

Work Environment
This plumbing superintendent role is primarily based at construction and renovation sites across Calgary, including commercial and multifamily residential locations. You will travel to job sites within Calgary and the surrounding area daily. Some time may be spent in an office or vehicle completing administrative duties such as reporting, scheduling, or communicating with stakeholders.
