As the Sr Specialist, Technology Risk Management, reporting to the Director, Technology Risk Management, you will construct and launch a risk rocket of metrics with a trajectory to be a ‘world-class’ capability that measures and monitors risks across Loblaw Technology. You will help identify, assess, and manage technology risks, and most importantly help to report on meaningful technology risks to the technology leadership team and executive boards to drive insightful decision making.
What You’ll Do:
Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) across Loblaw Technology.
Manage various reporting cycles to leadership and executives.
Create a ‘risk universe’ through collaboration and understanding of risks from various line of defence.
Identify control activities that mitigate risks and support control attestation and testing.
Support the continuous improvements of risk management processes.
Maintain technology risk management process documentation.
Manage the facilitation of timely collection of requests from Internal/External auditors and other compliance teams.
Assist with training to develop the next level of risk aware colleagues.
Help strengthen the risk culture across Loblaw Technology.
What You’ll Need:
Undergraduate degree in business, computer science, engineering, or information technology related field.
Certified in Risk and Information System Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other relevant certifications.
5+ years of related experience.
Excellent understanding of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
Regulatory knowledge and experience (i.e. 52-109, PCI, OFSI)
Experience working with IT risk and control frameworks and best practices (i.e. COBIT, ISF, ISO 27001/5, NIST and ITIL.)
Knowledge and experience in ServiceNow GRC (preferred)
Ability to present complex information clearly and influence the outcome through effective verbal and written communications.
Interpersonal skills to cultivate strong working relationships in a team environment.
