Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes with intricate designs, fondant, icing, and other decorative elements to meet customer specifications
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Package baked goods carefully for display
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment, tools, and workstations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of orders
Requirements
- Proven experience in cake decorating and baking within bakery environment
- Strong skills in food preparation and food safety practices
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and kitchen safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods
- Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is required
