Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in construction management software.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project goals are met.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Coordinate with project managers to develop timelines and schedules for construction activities.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Superintendent role or similar position within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Construction Management or related fields are preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $114,255.00-$121,479.00 per year
