Your Role
As a Senior Accountant, you play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, assurance, and tax engagements. You are a dependable technical contributor, a steady presence on files, and a trusted support to both clients and team members.
This role blends hands-on technical work with growing leadership responsibility. You’ll work closely with Managers and Partners, support junior team members, and help ensure client engagements are completed accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
Core Responsibilities
Client & Engagement Delivery
- Prepare and assist with accounting, assurance, and tax engagements from planning through completion
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of work in accordance with firm and professional standards
- Apply sound technical judgment on routine and moderately complex matters, escalating issues appropriately
- Contribute to positive client relationships through professional, responsive communication
Operational Excellence
- Manage assigned tasks across multiple engagements while meeting timelines and supporting engagement budgets
- Follow firm templates, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain current technical knowledge in accounting, assurance, and taxation
- Support the adoption of tools and processes that improve efficiency and file quality
Team Support & Development
- Support junior accountants and technicians through informal coaching, review support, and example-setting
- Assist with reviewing work and providing constructive feedback under Manager guidance
- Contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and accountable team environment
Firm Contribution
- Work closely with Managers and Partners to support engagement priorities and client needs
- Identify and communicate client risks, needs, or opportunities as they arise
- Participate in internal initiatives, training, and knowledge-sharing activities

Qualifications
- CPA designation in good standing
- Approximately 1–3 years of post-designation public practice experience, or equivalent senior-level experience
- Experience preparing accounting, assurance, and tax engagements
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to apply standards and exercise sound judgment
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication abilities
