Instructor (Full-time)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full Time Instructor to join our team. While current WorkplaceNL instructor certifications and qualifications to teach any combination of the courses listed below would be considered a strong asset, they are not necessarily required for the right candidate.
Candidates with relevant industry knowledge, practical experience, and a strong understanding of workplace health and safety are encouraged to apply. We recognize the value of real-world experience and are prepared to invest in the right candidate by providing the necessary training, course reviews, and support to obtain the required instructor qualifications and certifications.
Experience or current certification in any of the following courses would be an asset:
- Fall Protection
- Confined Space
- Power line Hazards
- Supervisor Health & Safety
- OH&S Committee Training
- Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention
- Traffic Control
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform
- Forklift
- H2S Alive
- First Aid
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver REL’s training programs in accordance to applicable agency standards, WorkplaceNL, Energy Safety Canada, Red Cross, corporate standards and instructor guidelines
- Ensure QA/QC standards are followed during training delivery
- Complete related training duties and responsibilities, as assigned
- There may also be opportunities to teach at outside Corporate facilities of REL clients
COMPENSATION:
- Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience
