Silverhill Acura is looking for a reliable and organized Shipper/Receiver to join our Parts Department. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is flexible in supporting different areas of the Parts Department when needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily preparation of parts deliveries to ensure products are ready on time according to customer due dates
- Ensure parts and products are properly packed and protected for shipment
- Follow customer-specific packing instructions when required
- Process daily emergency orders
- Receive and process stock orders into inventory
- Ensure all required paperwork, shipping documents, and customs forms are completed accurately prior to shipment
- Assist with picking parts and kits, and placing parts in designated locations
- Complete parts deliveries when needed
- Maintain inventory organization and assist with inventory control
- Support cycle counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Help keep the parts storage and shipping areas clean, organized, and safe
- Step in to assist with Parts Advisor duties when needed, including helping with parts inquiries, locating parts, and supporting internal and customer-facing parts requests
Requirements
- Previous shipping/receiving or parts experience is an asset
- Automotive dealership or automotive parts experience is preferred
- Parts Advisor experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move parts as required
- Valid driver’s licence is required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to be flexible and assist throughout the Parts Department when needed
- Must be able to reliably commute to Calgary, AB
