CTV News is looking for a team of graphic designers (5) who want to be part of the mobile revolution. Creativity is a given. You will be responsible for coming up with new ways and concepts to deliver stories on a mobile platform. You will work with a creative team of journalists on daily news and longer form projects. You can work independently and be part of a team. You thrive in a high energy environment, understand deadlines and are detail oriented.

Building graphics for daily news segments on a mobile platform - designing and/or following network and platform branded templates
Working with photography, images and video assets – involving colour/image correction and overall layout, while adhering to brand standards and guidelines
Collaborating and coordinating with other team members in News design and production
Additional duties as required
Strong design skills in image and video composition and typography
An in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite of design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), along with emerging digital design and editorial software
A solid working knowledge of Mac OSX and digital workflows
A strong ability to work to specification under tight deadlines with quick turnarounds
Experience and ability following rigid brand standards and guidelines
Must be dedicated to the job and be a true team player with a strong, proactive work ethic
A comprehensive portfolio of work experience that showcases expertise in visual design, aesthetics, branding and storytelling with a lean towards emerging technologies
A self-starter with an innate ability to follow direction, and work quickly, cleanly and efficiently
Motion design / broadcast design / Digital Social and/or Mobile UI design experience a strong asset – particularly designing to mobile specs and digital breakpoints/grids

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
