James Smith Cree Nation (JSCN) and a sub-office in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

The School
The Bernard Constant Community School is a dynamic Pre-K-Grade 12 school serving
approximately 394 students enrolled in its nursery to Grade 12 Programs, with a
professional staff of more than 30 teachers and a full complement of support staff. The
focus of the Bernard Constant Community School is Trauma-sensitive Programming,
with a full complement of a Wellness Team, a comprehensive Cree Language Program
for all grades and divisions, along with a Land-based Learning Program, a Cultural
Program, a Sports Academy Program, and a Treaty Essential Learning Program.
There are currently no accommodations available within the community. School staff
travel into the community from local towns and cities such as Melfort and Prince Albert,
Saskatchewan.
Position Title - Cook’s Assistant
Under the direct supervision of the Principal at Bernard Constant Community School,
the Cook’s Assistant is responsible for cleaning up after breakfast, snack(s), and
lunchtime, as well as assisting the cook with prescribed preparation and cooking duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk are as follows:
- assisting the cook in all aspects of delivering a hot-lunch/hot-supper scenario;
- clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units;
- operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware;
