Cocktails & Canapes is looking for a part time event manager to join our growing operation. We have a young and passionate team and are looking for that perfect person to come help us bring our events to life and have some fun while doing it.
The role of the Event Manager includes but is not limited to the following:
- Execution of high level events
- Create a positive fun atmosphere for all staff at our on site at events
- Manage events on site from start to finish
- Develop and manage relationships with clients, planners and all other people involved in the execution of the event
- Available for this position to evolve into an Event Coordinator role leading into the 2024 season
This role requires the following:
- Hospitality and management experience in Restaurants or Catering is a must!
- Passionate, reliable and committed

- Excellent communication and problem solving skills - no two events are the same!

- Valid Driver’s License

We are a catering and events company based in Penticton at 557 Main St. with many projects on the go! We specialize in creating distinct culinary experiences using fresh local ingredients for the simple reason that fresh tastes better. We may put the food first, but at the heart of it, we’re people-driven and looking to bring energetic, fun and passionate people onto our team.
We have a jam-packed season ahead of us… small intimate weddings, large-scale 250 person celebrations, dinners amongst the vines of our local wineries, 2000 person beer garden parties. Come help us bring these amazing events to life and have some fun while we do it!
