Responsibilities
- Promote the BMW product line - providing superior customer service
- Work in conjunction with the parts manager to maintain healthy stock of products
- Order new product and clear out the previous season’s items
- Issue parts, supplies and equipment to auto maintenance and other authorized staff, including repair shops; reviews requisition forms and ensures accuracy, completeness and proper authorizations
- Receive materials, supplies and parts delivered to the parts storage area; review requisition forms and packing statements; note discrepancies and follow-up with vendors on shortages
- Order required parts and materials from pre-established vendors; may drive to vendor location to pick up materials or parts
- Properly input lost sales into the inventory system
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- 1-2 years automotive parts experience
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred
- Meticulous
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Organizational skills
- Team player, with ability to work by themselves
- Self-Motivated
- Reliable and dependable
- Job requires constant lifting
