Assistant Sales Manager- Alberta
Assistant Sales Managers possess the tenacity, resourcefulness and creativity to set the industry standard for customer delight. This position requires and responsible for driving sales for Intercept Security. This position is to be ideally located in Alberta, Calgary but may require occasional visits to other parts of Alberta and British Columbia.
Job Description:
· Increase market share by seeking out new relationships through sales events, referrals, industry contacts, making warm/cold sales calls, collaborating with sales/branch managers on sales strategies and developing plans to convert potential customers to Intercept customers.
· Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills.
. Prepare responses for new tenders and RFP.
· Scout for potential prospects regularly.
· Consistently identify new business opportunities at existing and potential customers to ensure sustained, profitable growth
· Contribute to the development of future products/services and marketing strategies through voice of the customer feedback.
· Meeting quarterly/annually sales objectives.
· Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the organizations' core competencies and differentiated capabilities and apply this knowledge to provide value-added solutions to customers.
· Strong organization, planning, follow-up and general time management skills with experience managing a sales region, prioritizing opportunities.
· Endless stamina and resilience to successfully transform prospects into customers.
· Facilitate co-destiny relationships with key decision makers at customers and prospects by leveraging all available resources.
Basic Qualifications:
· High School Graduate or associate degree with minimum of 2 years experience in security sales.
· Three Good references
· Ability to travel, approximately 20-30% of the time. Vehicle will be provided for travel.
Additional Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Working knowledge of office software applications and sales automation tools
· 2+ years experience in security industry or services and solutions.
· Excellent communication skills including, written, verbal and an emphasis on technical presentation skills.
· Working knowledge of office software applications and sales automation tools
· Ability to handle a sales team of 2-3 members, assigning tasks, setting goals, helping in presentations or negations, ensuring goals are being achieved and etc.
Compensation:
Annual Salary $55,000 - $60,000 based on experience. Additional commission paid per new account($5k-$15k per year depending on deals closed).
