Job Description:
TD is modernizing its marketing ecosystem to deliver personalized, relevant, and timely communications to customers through their channel of choice. As part of the Marketing Delivery team supporting the RESL (Real Estate Secured Lending) portfolio, your goal will be to design, execute, and measure campaign performance to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement across the portfolio. You will work closely with key partners across Marketing and Business Units to lead the well-managed delivery of journey orchestration campaigns and initiatives within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Loyalty Management (LM), Data Cloud / Data 360 (CDC), Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE), and Salesforce Personalization (MCP).
If you are passionate about helping stakeholders understand data, energized by making the latest direct-to-consumer marketing campaign results readily available, and motivated to challenge the “process status quo” to make workflows more efficient, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Integrated Marketing Planning and 1:1 Personalization teams to design, execute, and measure targeted marketing campaigns.
Design and execute cross-channel Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) campaigns and journeys based on marketer requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Design and streamline Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys, including campaign build, audience creation, and audience filtering in Salesforce LM and CDC.
Continuously improve campaign design and delivery by leveraging Python, PySpark, Databricks, and other available techniques.
Perform QA testing to ensure segmented audiences and content are accurate and render properly across devices.
Build and deploy marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder, including journey development, template setup, list management, form creation, A/B testing, and automated triggers.
Oversee journey planning and execution, including technical reviews and quality control.
Build and maintain modular, responsive campaign templates that align with brand standards and best practices.
Manage and segment audience data using Marketing Cloud tools, including Audience Builder, data extensions, APIs, filters, and queries.
Troubleshoot campaign development issues and investigate escalated campaign concerns.
Participate in campaign optimization sessions and support campaign performance analysis.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign objectives within stated timelines.
Professional Experience:
4+ years of relevant experience in direct marketing, consulting, analytics, or an agency-side role within financial services, telecom, or another high-volume direct marketing industry.
Minimum of 2+ years of Salesforce and marketing automation experience across LM, CDC, and MCE.
Minimum of 2+ years of campaign management and delivery experience, including segmentation strategy.
Knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL, databases, data structures, vendor requirements, and file format requirements.
Familiarity with direct marketing principles, including predictive models, experiment design, A/B testing, sample size calculations, and net performance measurement.
Strong knowledge of CASL and other regulatory frameworks applicable to email marketing in Canada.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control in campaign execution and deployment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications, such as Administrator, Developer, and/or Email Specialist.
2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, with a track record of working autonomously and navigating ambiguity effectively.
Knowledge of inline, embedded, and external CSS, as well as AMPscript and CSS for Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
