Heavy Equipment Technician (Field)

Marmot Construction Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. This position will primarily focus on supporting our field operations in the maintenance and repair of our fleet of automotive, highway and off-road vehicles.
What you’ll do
· Perform assemblies, preventative maintenance and equipment overhauls.
· Complete detailed service reports, timecards and maintenance documentation.
· Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy equipment using advanced troubleshooting tools.
What you bring
· Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (Third or Fourth Year Apprentice may be considered)
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract (Class 1 or Class 3 License considered an asset)
· CVIP License preferred.
· Experience with off-road equipment considered an asset.
· Experience with Gomaco considered an asset.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to work within confined spaces.
· Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
· Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and priorities.

· CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots
