Position Summary:
The Lead Data Analyst, under the direction of the Data Analysis Manager, provides expert guidance to a team of Data Analysts as they complete challenging medical data migrations for implementing clients across Canada that are moving to Accuro, our EMR platform, or that are moving between Accuro databases.

The Lead Data Analyst will also work to ensure the team is efficiently managing the data needs of our existing Accuro client base.

Additionally, the Lead Data Analyst will participate in other projects and initiatives including:
  • Working with stakeholders of at all levels of the organization
  • Assisting other teams (including Integrations and Reporting) to utilize data analysis techniques, process and documentation
This is a results-driven leadership role with a goal of providing high quality data migration and data services to our clients, while maintaining team efficiency and continually working to improve throughput.

Essential Functions:
  • Participate in challenging and large-scale data migrations for clinics across Canada.
  • Ensure that the team is meeting goals and deadlines.
  • Ensure that the team is following strict ISO process regarding the handling of data.
  • Participate in the hiring, training and coaching of new staff.
  • Participate in the discipline process as needed.
  • Ensure that technical system specifications align with business requirements.
  • Ensure the integrity of data, including data extraction, processing, storage, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Secure transfer and storage of confidential patient data.
  • Tracking issue occurrences for permanent solution design
  • Supporting the customer centric culture of QHR
  • Technical Training to other departments from time to time.
  • Creating reports using SQL and Jasper Reporting for use by end-users.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • University or College degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis.
  • Experience with data migrations and ETL preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience in interpreting and reporting results of analysis, and experience in data processing and file management is necessary.
  • Experience in Senior Data Analyst roles, with responsibility for managing increasingly complex deliverables.
  • Thorough knowledge of product development lifecycle.
  • Proficient in Java programming.
  • Expert with SQL and relational databases.
  • Prioritization, multitasking and time management.
  • Care for the confidentiality of patient records.
  • Ability to find solutions quickly and adapt style to meet the audience.
  • Effectively apply interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) at a senior level.
