Overview
We are seeking a Junior QA Specialist to support our Quality Assurance team with day-to-day documentation, record keeping, and compliance-related paperwork. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone looking to start a career in Quality Assurance within a regulated manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior QA staff to ensure that quality records are accurate, organized, and up to date, helping maintain compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Records
- Assist with preparation, review, formatting, and filing of QA documents
- Maintain organized electronic and physical quality records
- Ensure documents are completed correctly, signed, and stored according to procedures
- Track document revisions and support document control activities
Quality System Support
- Help with maintaining SOPs, forms, logs, and templates
- Support change control, deviations, and CAPA documentation (training provided)
- Assist in preparing QA files for audits and inspections
- Follow up on missing paperwork and incomplete records
Administrative QA Tasks
- Perform routine QA administrative duties as assigned
- Enter data into quality systems or spreadsheets accurately
- Coordinate with production, operations, and management to collect required documentation
- Support onboarding documentation and training record maintenance
General Support
- Assist senior QA team members with ongoing quality projects
- Learn and follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes
Qualifications
Required
- Diploma or degree in Science, Quality, Business, or a related field (or currently completing)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with paperwork, forms, and records
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email)
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions carefully
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous experience in an administrative, QA, or regulated environment
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or quality systems
- Experience with document control or record management
