Duties
- Assist servers by setting up tables, arranging silverware, glassware, and condiments to ensure a smooth dining flow
- Support food preparation and delivery by helping with plating, garnishing, and timely table service
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including clearing tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Handle food handling responsibilities safely and efficiently in accordance with food safety standards
- Support cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) operations when needed during busy service times
- Restock service stations with necessary supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments to keep service seamless
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest needs promptly
Skills
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly valued for understanding the flow of hospitality
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology for efficient transactions
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus, along with barista or meal preparation background
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food safety, cashiering, and guest services
