Job Description:
In this roll you will be assisting the head Operations Manager in the completion of cleaning substations, as well as assisting in the condition monitoring of live stations above and underground. This job requires a great deal of travel and understanding of High Voltages. Training for this will be provided on the job.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electrical an asset (however not necessary)
- Underground certification or equivalent such as Mining Modules and Common Core required;
- DZ & G Class Licenses - asset
- Be knowledgeable of underground standards for installation and repairs; Ability and comfortable to work at height;
- Manual dexterity, good eyesight, and hand-eye coordination as well as physical strength and stamina;
- Ability to think analytically and have a creative approach to problem-solving;
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and work orders.
- Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, general computer knowledge
- Possess a good ethic work, a positive attitude and ability to work in teams;
- Experience working in a multicultural environment;
- Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (Oral and written).
- Extensive Canada wide traveling
- Driving of DZ Class vehicles
