Job Opportunity: Disability Support Worker (Family Managed Supports)
We are seeking a positive, reliable and engaged Disability Worker to join our team to support an individual with Autism and Down Syndrome
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PAID AWAKE SHIFT
(not suitable for a student wishing to study on shift)
Role and responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person centered support in the home
- Assist with Daily Living activities, personal care and skill build
- Ensure a safe, supportive and engaging environment
Qualifications and requirements
- Reliability: High Level of dependability, punctuality, and commitment to maintaining scheduled shifts.
- Must be able to fallow support plan as set out by the family
- Communication: Ability to fluently read, write and understand English to maintain documentation and communicate with the individual and team
- Clear Criminal Record Check: (including Vulnerable Sector search)
- Valid First Aid CPR( or willingness to obtain)
Candidates must have valid Class 5 driver's license (non GLD) a reliable vehicle to use for work with the ability to provided 2 million PLPD in insurance liability

Available Shifts and Schedule
Weekend night shifts
- Friday & Saturday(9-12 hrs per shift)
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 – 24.0 per week
