We’re looking for a reliable and talented pharmacist to cover a short term weekend contract in Port Coquitlam.
This opportunity is perfect for recent graduates looking to build strong blocks of experience this summer while still having plenty of time to enjoy the leisure amenities the GVA has to offer.
The applicant will work alongside a fully-dedicated team of pharmacy assistants in delivering exceptional patient care. A strong commitment to medical compliance, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic are essential. Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services while providing professional medication counselling.
- Ensure accurate prescription dispensing.
- Inventory management and regulatory/policy compliance.
- Conducting medication reviews and administering vaccinations.
- Engage patients with counseling and positive interactions.
- Dispense RX daily. (100-150RX)

Requirements:
- Licensed Pharmacist in the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Methadone and Suboxone qualified.
- Proficient in clinical knowledge and patient communication.
- Experience with pharmacy Kroll is an asset.
- Positive inclination to exceed expectations beyond in-patient care.
